Living without a fridge

After four and a half years, our electrolux fridgefreezer ceased to work. I came home with some shopping put it in the fridge that felt alarmingly warm. The dsplay said: 12 degrees. I had to throw away the entire content of the fridge. And as our local council picks up rubbish only every fortnight, we had to go to the local dump to bring all the content of the freezer as well.

It is not fun to live without a fridge. I have to think of what to have for dinner, buy it after work and cook it immediately. I can’t have milk or butter. Basics that you need every day, like cheese, ham and frozen peas. Especially with a toddler, it is simply not fun.

We have to choose a new fridge and quick!
